Next Switch Academy Partners with 10 Universities Across Africa
Strategic academic partnerships will expand access to technology education and create pathways for students into the digital economy.
Next Switch Academy has signed partnership agreements with 10 universities across Africa to deliver joint technology education programs, research collaborations, and student exchange opportunities.
The partner institutions span Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. The collaboration will see Next Switch Academy curriculum integrated into existing computer science and engineering programs, as well as the creation of specialized certificate programs in emerging technologies.
"Education is the foundation of Africa's digital future," said Dr. Akinwale Oladipo. "By partnering with leading universities, we're creating a pipeline of talent that is ready to solve Africa's most pressing challenges."
The partnership includes faculty development programs, joint research initiatives, and internship placement for students at Next Switch portfolio companies.
